As I mentioned yesterday I’ve started to see some early signs of spring here in Scandinavia and I like it a lot. You’ve probably figured out by now that the spring makes me think of flowers and plants and at the moment I’ve got big plans for my balcony. I think it’s important to make the balcony (or the terrace of course) as cozy and welcoming as possible and this year I want it to become my favorite room during the summer months. I have to admit that the balcony is more or less a place where I collect garden furniture at the moment but that needs to change right away! What can possibly be better than to sit in a comfortable chair on a clean and nicely decorated balcony, reading a good book or knitting a pair of socks? I can even sit on the balcony when I work if I make it comfortable enough.

So what can I do to make it more cozy? I’ve been thinking a lot about it and I don’t know about you but I think zinc pots with blooming flowers in various colors makes every place more welcoming and beautiful. It doesn’t matter if they’re placed inside or outside, they bring a classic touch to every home and they can change a place from ordinary to something extra in a moment.
