In the beginning of March I wrote a blog post on what to do in the garden in March. I’ve totally forgotten to do something similar in April and considering we’re already in the second half of the month I assume it’s about time to do it… So, here are a few things for you to do in April if you haven’t done it already.
- Take a look at the lawn. Does it look good? Maybe there are some empty spots in the lawn? There’s still time to add some grass seed to the lawn to make it look perfect when the summer comes.
- Put a bucket over the pieplants up-side-down. Why? Because it’ll make it grow faster.
- Remove old, damaged branches from the currant bushes. Remember to do it before the bushes starts turning green.
- It’s time to plant a few bushes in the garden to make it even more beautiful when the summer comes. Bushes like forsythia and mahonia will make great additions in your garden. You can find beautiful plants over at Arbor Day if you don’t have a local nursery.
These are just a few things that you can do in April. As always, I’d be happy to hear more ideas from you. And don’t forget to come back tomorrow, hopefully we’ll have a winner from the Twitter give-away. Just 2 more followers to go!
